[3DS Max] Memory usage on c-drive while rendering

Im getting some issues while rendering out a larger scene where there's not enough memory on C. The scene just shuts down. I am not sure where I can change the disk it uses to another disk. I did enable "page large images to disk" from the "Bitmap Performance ..." options, and it helped some, but I cannot create a new disk direction from within this dialogue.

some more information would be helpful. What version of max, which renderer, OS, hardware specs etc....

I am om version 2018 and in V-ray 3.6. There should be an internal file . ini or something, which dictates where textures are temporarily loaded when you start rendering, and this file or option is what I am looking for. In the global settings and default for bitmap proxies theres a pager option, though I don't really think that had anything to do with it after testing it some more. Currently about 3gb is temporarily taken out of C-disk when I render my scene. I want those 3g to be taken from my D-disk instead. So its a cache option I actually am looking for.

I did get it too work when cleaning up C some, but my C disk is always at its limit so I would still know how to change this. I did however just notice that I had set my dynamic memory limit to 0, so I did change that to help the process along.

I believe I thought it was a 3ds max question for some reason, but of course it is V-ray question. Changing my dynamic memory limit and setting the tiled texture limit seems to sort it out some, but I should probably rather ask it in the V-ray forums, since I still can't locate how to change the path.
