Hello, I'm working on a new piece based on this concept: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ONwnk. Focusing on the outfit for now I might give him a face later.
It's looking great @Oaken! I think you can get away with giving his helmet's visor-edge a harsher angle (the brim looks more rounded than the helmet in the concept). I'd say the only other thing that could use some adjustments is the material color you're using right now. I can still make things out but it's really dark and blends in with the background, so it'd be great if you could lighten things up for those details. I think you're nailing the likeness from the concept so keep up the awesome work! I hope you're able to get around to his face later on.
I think his overtunic thing is wider at his waist just above the belt in the concept. and I think the sleeves widen out a bit at the bottom. also the jacket comes up his neck a bit higher before starting the collar in the concept, giving his shoulders a more sloped look. the overall concept has a triangular silhouette whereas yours is looking more rectangular at the moment. very nice looking fabric though! good folds.
Hello, Thanks for the comments guys! Did low poly/UV/bake, the bake still needs some cleaning up and proportions might need to be tweaked. 18.5k~ tri Next up textures.
Model and textures looks really good As for gifs I think you can use something like Gfycat or Streamable. I havent tried to embed them in Polycount to be fair but theyre using very efficient compression so the filesizes are much smaller than gifs.

What do you think is a good file size for GIFs?
