Super software btw.
After baking in substance painter (without a cage which is amazing) I get some very minor aberrations. This is a color id map from ZBrush and is labeled as a color id map in substance painter. Sub painter has image editing tools but the map is best applied via a fill layer. Adding a paint sub layer doesnt seem to work. Im wondering what the best way to retouch the map would be. If I could get this map onto a normal layer I could use the image editing tools to fix it. Exporting the map to PS is out as I would loose the resolution flexibility in sub-painter. Any ideas?

how to; click on the Fill Layer 1, either click on the effects button on the top or right click on the fill layer and select Paint from the menu,
for the colour; either use the Material picker to get the wished colour, or manually change the colour you want to use.
To my knowledge, you can´t use the stamp brush in this case.
