hey fellas

i started modeling like 8 years ago because of the Polycount TF2 Hat dealio but this is my first time actually posting any of my stuff here. hopefully it was worth the wait!



Basically I was going through Michael Pavlovitch's intro to zbrush series (up until very recently I'd only used maya/mudbox) and liked one of my practice busts so much that I ended up finishing it. I think it goes without saying that retopologizing the skull was a nightmare but also a great learning experience (i learned about 'mesh>conform' about halfway through...)

I also went ahead and rigged/animated for the heck of it along with some baked dynamics (so not really dynamics at all but idk):

I spent a very long time trying to make the fur cards animated but could not come up with a good solution that would translate to Sketchfab. Blendshapes might have worked for a diffused wind-vortex sort of feel but I was looking for something more joint-based. Oh well!

I'd appreciate critique and tips in general as I'm trying to put a killer demoreel together.
