Oh wow haha, well your topology is really smooth - I didn't even notice.
One thing I would say is if you look at their concept there is actually slight colour change between materials. It's very faint but its this colour separation that helps break up the overall asset. You can see the faint whites in the bone and the browns in the leather. If its in your asset, it isn't coming across as much as in your reference. There's also some more roughness variation and contact grunge in the reference to support these material changes.
Well done though. It looks like a high quality sculpt. Just needs a second pass in the final stages
Yeah I agree with you 100%. The color in general does look quite seamless. My goal was to use a flat color palette but I should have tried to get a better color separation as you say. Thanks a lot for the suggestions!
