Polycount and Marmoset have teamed up to host the annual GDC Meetup for the fourth year running. Join us for cool artwork, free swag, cocktails and conversation with the industry’s most talented artists.

No worries, everyone is nervous at GDC! There will be whiskey though, so that should sort it out.

All these super cool Polycount meetups, GDCs, Nordic Game Conferences, Blender Conferences etc. I'd love to join someday for networking and making friends... but for me it's pretty much impossible to participate to these kind of events any time soon. Because I'm broke, and still probably will be few years from now on. Maybe someday, maybe... but very unlikely.

We have our local IGDA gatherings, but that's quite small and kinda lame. Pretty much the same group of people there every time. Definitely not prestigious and talented artists, not to mention character artists. Just tumbleweeds in my city where I live, lol.

Hey that is how literally most of these events started! Those same groups of people will be your best friends in years to come

This will be my first time in the Bay area and first GDC ever. I managed to win a GDC lottery Ticket,however that means I will be going alone. I am pretty bummed I wont be able to attend this since I wont get in till about 12am Tuesday going into Wednesday.
