Been working on an environment made in UE4 with dynamic lighting. More images and video on my artstation. Check it out! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1Pr48
Nice work man! Lots of effort into the material definition and roughness usage.
- That white trim of the overhang/roof has this repeated rust/stain that is tiling across the entirety, would be good to alpha it out in spots. - The triangular flag banner movement is pretty unnatural, just looks like it sinewaves back and forth as a whole in X/Y. But you'd expect the tip of the triangle to be more strongly affected by the wind, and the direction of the wind on the one banner parallel to the building shouldnt be the same as the direction of the other two as its facing a different direction. - Give the triangle tips a bit more high frequency flutter to feel more real. - I understand the puddles for the specular breakup, but it feels inconsistent with the rest of the surroundings if it just recently rained? Given how arid the space feels, and that there are no bodies of water anywhere else (Potholes on the road would likely have puddles?) Just feels weird overall. - the round 'gas stop' sign feels quite small/insignificant, maybe making it larger might feel better? - might be a nice touch if you added in some oil staining /w the iridescence highlights given the age of this shop. Or even pushing the gravel away slightly from the most travelled 'tracks' that vehicles would drive into these pumps. - Throw a wind sock on that tv tower for more movement!
