Samurai Katana I modelled using reference from a real handmade sword.
Base mesh with 3ds Max, high poly with ZBrush and textureing with
Substance Painter. It was a lot of fun sculpting the ornamental details.
I recommend the tutorial by Seth Thompson, that explains the process

Thanks Brian. Yeah that would look good, but I wanted it to look clean, like a sword for display on a museum or something like that. Maybe I'll make an alternative texture.
