[Riot 2017 Art Contest] - Taliyah vs Malphite

Hey guys!
After some exploring and thumbnails I got around to coloring the 4 I liked most. I love the whole Freljord storyline but I've grown fond of Taliyah lately after reading her lore so I decided to go with her. First drafts were Tali vs Rek'sai, but I wondered if she could go up vs Malphite, if she could control him or not. I'm guessing no since he's a sentient being from another dimension.

So after reading both characters lores, I figured this matchup could be somewhat interesting. 

Changes might still happen but I'm very inclined towards the last one.

Ok hi! I haven't posted updates since I've been power-rushing this piece through the last few days but here are some process shots:

WIP 2. Started rendering and trying to get the composition feel a bit better since I wasn't liking the direction it was taking. Ended up just cropping a bit out and render it out to finish on time

I don't think it's finished but I'm submitting anyway. This was a tough challenge since I got working on this way too late. Hopefully you'll like it!
