I must say Skarner has some of the coolest lore of all champions. As I learned more about him, I drew an obvious connection between him and Rek'Sai - as they are both under-earth dwellers. This story is an exploration of the possible relationship between their races, told from Skarner's point of view.

I borrowed the writing style of "Dreamsong" (Skarner lore story) for this.
