Hello all!
I don't have a cellphone, and was considering buying a point-and-shoot camera to snap various texture references. I wouldn't be using these photos to derive textures from directly, but simply as reference so I can get close-up snaps of surfaces I can't exactly bring home. I'm looking for something a bit more portable than a DSLR, since ideally I would carry this camera on me at all times.
I was wondering if anyone had recent experience using portable models, and if so, what your recommendations would be.
My budget is around $200-300.
