I'm fairly new to substance painter and had been working on a texture for a while and then suddenly noticed a huge error with the UVs

This part of the texture was supposed to be on the other material I had. I must have given it the wrong ID before importing it from 3DS max. I can easily fix this in 3DS max, however is there a way to fix it in Substance Painter without having to start again. I tried reimporting the mesh but it didn't seem to do anything, so I guess that doesn't effect the UV maps. In the past I've noticed these problems within minutes, so my solution was just to start a new document, as I've been working on this for a while I don't want to lose the work I've put in already. I've tried searching for a solution but I've not been able to find anything
Thank you in advance
Edit: Turns out reimporting the mesh was the correct solution. Not sure why it wasn't working, but after a computer restart it is.
