[RIOT Creative Contest 2017] Nexus Last Stand

Hello everyone, this is my entry for this contest regarding a battle between the champions, as the last stand/ battle - the way i imagined it.
It is my 1st time for entering such a contest, and i`m glad to share some of progress that i`ve made so far.
Initially i wanted to go just for 1 character illustration/ splash art, but i decided to include at least 2 characters to battle, then i went with 4, just to challenge myself a bit with fundamentals, hopefully to improve them along the way (especially on this contest).
This was the initial sketch to make myself an idea of the battle:

- i`m not entirely familiar with background painting so i might go with something simplistic. more updates tomorrow.
