Hello everyone! I have a question about loops in 3DS Max. Is it possible to do loop deselection in it? Here is my example why i need it. I need to deselect faces that is going straight down. Ofc i can do that manually, but come on xD.
I forgot. I can see you have those loops 90 degrees perpendicular to the surface, so what you can do is go to polygon subobject mode and use 'by angle' selection. Play with selection degrees, maybe 45 (default) will be alright, can't see whole model. Cheers!

There's probably a smarter way to make the selection you want though. There usually is
I always loop select the edge/border, then CTRL select the polygon element button (it converts to nearest polygon selection).
