So i am really confused now. I saw a lot of really awesome shader in substance designer with really big height map which displace the obj completely. Is that specifically to be used in a game engine only? Cuz i believe substance painter could not do a displacement map like that. If so, then how do i use those really cool material with displacement map? (i believe they still export those as a height map so I'm even more confused).

but it's mostly just for presentation, you don't normally use the height data for actual shape displacement in game,
except for some rare cases.
Mostly for terrain though, you won't really see it on individual objects, especially not for small details.
PO and, even more so, tesselation are pretty performance-heavy though, which is why you mostly just see it in professionally performance controlled titles.
But yeah as Jonas says, those renders you often see of a sphere or a cube with displacement is purely for the sake of fancy presentation.
