So I've been wondering for some time now if there is some way to bake transparency from a highpoly in either Marmoset toolbag or in substance painter/designer. I believe it's possible inside Maya using the transfer maps alpha selection but have not tested it yet. Basically I want to be able to turn a section of my mesh will holes into just a plane with the normal and transparency baked from the highpoly mesh.

IIRC you can also use xNormals "Bake base texture" baker without a texture.
Thanks for the info on xNormal. I'll definitely try it out but I'm also hoping for some option in either Marm or SP in order to do the bake all at once. Since I think I can technically do it in Maya as well with transfer maps, but from what I remember I have better luck at good results in xnormal over maya baking.
I just checked through marmoset and it doesn't appear to do the same (at least while I was previewing, maybe the bake is different)
