Something I did real quick, and enjoyed doing a lot would definitely like to polish up more for my reel. So any sort of feedback would be super appreciated. Thanks!
Hey, pretty cool! it's a little hard to tell what is happening right now. A couple of things that I would do when animating this type of shot would be:
- When you block it out have him jump between a couple of big pose changes before he jumps at the camera. Currently him just shuffling his feet into position isn't very appealing and everything is moving independently. When he moves his feet his weight should shift but his body often just stays in the same position.
- When the dog dives at the camera he seems to hit an invisible wall before he hits it. Is this the intention? If he is suppose to be jumping at the camera he should be much closer to it and cover the whole thing.
- Maybe before he dives his back legs could push a few times like hes slipping a little before he gains traction
Overall just push him into more appealing poses, look at the staging and push the cuteness! Cuteness is what I want to see from a doggo
