Keeps the... Doctor away?

I'll be trying my best to post textures created in Substance Designer every day for roughly the next month. Whilst I have had some experience with SD, I'm more or less a noob, but I absolutely love it and want to tame this beast!

Anyways, here is todays (or really, yesterdays, its very early morning) substance!

Day 2!

A great idea. That would be a great idea for me as well. I bought a perpetual license, but I actively avoid using it.

Day 3: Not insanelly happy with the result but I think it still looks okay.

Day 4: Wanted to try something different, very happy with the height map, the Albedo could use some more work but overall I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.

Day 5: I'm thinking I need to work on my albedos, I think they are the weakest part of my textures. Happy with the outcome however!

why not 1 substance a week and really make it a solid portfolio piece

This is more to just get me in the habit of regular practice and force myself to learn different techniques. But I might change it to one every two days and try to spend a little more time on each one, we will see

Day 6: Very happy with how this one turned out!

Day 7: Experimenting with creating patterns - Splatter Circular is great. Glass is a weird one, especially when you dont have much of an environement to see behind the glass and reflect.
