Hello everyone, I will be illustrating the classic Nami skin. A bit late on this, but still going to give it a go. Let's see if I can finish within a month.

My initial sketches below:


I still have issues with her jewelry, bust, and foreshortened arm; I will revisit during the rendering stage. Next step is to drop color in.

Thought I'd be clever and show the break of the water plane. Didn't look right to me as well. Thanks for the tip.

Went ahead and dropped in some color, while making edits:


I should shift the muddy browns to a more purple hue and towards gold for the staff. My next step is doing a bit of redrawing and polishing.
