[Riot Creative Contest 2017] League of Legends BOYBAND

Hey! I'm Charlotta, an illustrator from Sweden. I was swamped with work when the 2014 contest rolled around, so I'm SO happy that I get a second chance to participate! I care a lot about the League characters, so this should be fun.

I've had this idea for a while for a League of Legends boyband splash art... XD yeah I know it sounds crazy but bear with me. Ever since the Popstar Ahri skin came out, I couldn't help but feel the boys needed something similar! But instead of a k-pop group I'm thinking more j-pop or j-rock. Y'know, male idol group stuff. This would let me dive back to my anime roots, which will be really fun

The characters will include Ezreal, Ekko, Kayn, Rakan and Taric ;D

Starting out with Ezreal, the frontman. He's gonna be the cute and peppy one

I think I'm gonna go with the first concept; I like how fancy and j-pop it looks haha.

I did sketches for the rest of the concepts on the train while I was out travelling. Gonna clean these up now ^^

Wow, I love Rakan's design here! Kayn's with the open jacket looks amazing too, I think it fits the character pretty well. Looking forward to see more progress on this!

Rakan is already pretty flamboyant so making a popstar skin for him was pretty easy ^_^ While for Kayn I had to go down a more "bad boy" route haha. He ended up looking a little like a JRPG villain XD

Hi! I think 3 or 4 would work better as a splash art, so the crop version for the loading screen looks better for each one of them.

The lines are done! Still don't know if I'll be able to finish it in time with all the freelance work I'm doing, BUT I'm gonna do my best :'D
