Jhin is a collector, which isn't necessarily in his lore but I think it fits him well!
Jhin did indeed kill all of those old people.
Diana is desperate for information, unsure of who she is and what she believes in, so why not team up with League's psychopath?
Jhin is still his assassin self so there really is no reason not to help after getting paid, especially since he gets to recover some of his stolen collection!
