Hi,
I'm joining this contest, first of all,TBH i'm not too familiar to League of Legends and it's champions, all i know they have a lots of amazing splash art, so after a bit of research ,i think i will draw
Janna's original skin splash art (semi-random pick, because there alots of campions and lore behind them, just read several, pick Janna ),
I'm starting with some thumbnails, setting the general idea and composition,
after reading her lore, i want to draw her fly trough a thick zaun 'gray' as she respond to a call for her help,
and i noticed in some of her splash art she hold her staff in the right hand, but in her 3d model she hold her staff in her left hand, i'll put this into consideration for the composition

i think i will go with this one, refining the rough a bit more
-
next after tweakting the comp a bit more, i lay down the bassic color
-
then i start define her more,
her expression still looks dead to me, and i begin to see some more issues, i'll come back to this latter, i plan to do the overall picture first and fixing the issues little by little,
thats all for today progress, i hope i can finish this
Replies
i move back a step back, because i think i rushed the progrees and got confused myself , i need to better plan the color and the comp a bit more, so i'm makin a new rough, i think i can go with this
Thank you, it's nice to hear feedback from all of you, and yeah now i see it, she looks too green l'll try fix that
Today Update,
Nice work! Looking forward for the future update
i'm trying to implement those feedback into this update
at this point, i check this image to a different monitor at my office, and i realize the image has gotten too dark, so i brighten it and crank up the saturation,
now , time to finish it up, but now the color has gotten to far from the initial zaunfeel i wanted to, so i use this image as refrence to bring back the mood a bit
wrapping up the image, i'll check once more for the color, and addjust the image for the final touch if needed tonight, hope i still got some time
