i have been working on this tie fighter project for a uni project, still have a huge amount to do to this so pelase bare that in mind, feed back and crits would be helpful

I feel like the paint could need some more work in terms of material definition.
Right now it feels more like a flat color.
I guess making more use of the different roughness between paint and the metal could be a good starting point.
Also, you could maybe play with different heights of the paint layers through your normal map to make it a bit more interesting.
