A small indie game studio is looking for a talented 3D artist for creation of high quality terrain textures for our game. We need realistic textures that look good from RTS-like camera perspective.
To be more concrete, we need textures for grass, rock, sand, concrete, various ores, etc. Some materials will have multiple variants. Each material will have five textures: albedo, normals map, height map, smoothness map, and ambient occlusion map. The albedo texture should not have baked shadows and AO should be in separate map. We do not want to have normals and height maps just generated from albedo. We can provide a testing scene in Unity so that you can continuously test your work.
Our team is relaxed and friendly. We do not have strict deadlines and we value creativity and sense for detail. We already work with other freelancers for more than a year but our demands are so great that we need you! If we like your work there is an opportunity for longer collaboration. We pay immediately after receiving and reviewing each task, no delays.
Texture requirements:
* Size: 2048x2048
* Each material has: albedo (RGB), normals (RGB), height (gray), smoothness (gray), and ambient occlusion (gray).
* Seamless tiling without very noticeable repeats.
* Scale ~ 32 pixels per meter.
You:
* Experienced with texture creation.
* Familiarity with normal, height, and AO maps.
* Some experience with Unity is a plus.
