Hello guys. I recently finished a new character and have been in the process of posing it. I imported the low poly mesh as a obj into zbrush from maya, posed the character, brought it back into maya and reset my smoothing groups. This process caused artifacts on my normal map to appear however. I'm going to just properly rig the character in maya to work around this, but ive been scratching my head as to why these artifacts appeared in the first place. I think posing in zbrush is pretty common practice, so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why this might be happening.

it seems like a combination of rebaking and using a triangulated mesh for posing did the trick.
