[Riot Creative Contest 2017] Punk Nidalee

Hi Everyone, here is my entry for the Riot Contest.

I had originally planned to illustrate Cassiopeia but changed my mind after concepting some Nidalee skins.
I'm going for a 1980's punk rock skin for Nidalee.

Hey all, I've been working on the value structure and defining the shapes since the last post. I'm trying to resist the urge to detail every little bit at this point. Hope to have this step done soon so I can start on color studies!

I've laid down all the values and now I'm moving on to a few color studies before starting the final render.

Here are some quick color studies. I'm leaning towards the second option for now. Also, I'm still playing around with the colors of the buildings lights. I'm excited to experiment with all these neon colors.

I think you need to go with the pink/reddish hair, so that it is not confused with super galaxy.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I start rendering the hair. The color scheme of the galaxy skin definitely inspired my color choices.

Hey all, here is a bit of an update with the color layout. I'm still trying to decide on Nidalee's hair color and finding a good balance with the rest of the composition. I have the main source of light as a neon pink glow, but I don't want to overwhelm the piece with pink. Also, I'm still laying out the building shapes with some of them leaning towards cyberpunk style.

Here is a bit of an update. I decided to add Nidalee's cat form, so I added a street cat alongside her.  I think a cougar would stick out too much in a city   I'm still playing around with the hair shape and her clothing. And the overall background still needs a lot of attention. I'm trying not to focus on one area too much and instead trying to render everything to the same level before getting into the tiny details. There is still so much left to do!

Another update. I'm still working around with the building shapes and started placing more details in parts of the foreground.
