So here is a baked model of a gun I just started texturing. I was starting out with some smart materials in substance painter and this weird bumpy/ripple effect showed up (even though it looked smooth before the material was placed on it.) What am I doing wrong?
The first image shows my low poly and the second shows my turbosmoothed highpoly. I'm still very new to highpoly modeling and baking, and I have found tutorials that teach about the basics of it, but apparently I am missing something pretty fundamental, so feel free to post links to tutorials.

Also it seems like you use something with a generator in a layer that uses a curvature pass. Try turning different layers in the material on and off to see which one causes the problem.
Hope that helps as a first step.
