Hi everybody.
I just started on my first environment in the Unreal Engine, I do have modelling/texturing experience but I want to focus more on environment art.
The basic idea of this environment is a old factory hall with machinery taken over by people in a post apocalyptic world. I am taking inspiration from games like The Last of Us (the dam level) and some of my own idea's.
The lighting is no where near done and I am still learning the Unreal Engine during this process.
The basic shapes are done and some basic assets are added.
Feedback and tips are always nice to see
Thank you for reading!

Dont have much time to work on this scene in my own time but the weekend is comming up so stay tuned!
Added some block models of machines and a shipping container with added roof to make it like a little living area. I think it will be cool if the roof is missing at more spots. More light/vegitation will be able to flow in and it makes sense for people to make shelter indoors because of rain and wind comming inside the building.
Maybe take a look at this article: https://80.lv/articles/andres-rodriguez-environment-art-interview/
I hope this helps you
Thanks for the tip, I have allot of reference already (didnt post it here). I think my blockout is a bit to minimalistic and needs a bit more tought and details to give a better view of what it will become in the end.
