Hello I'm pretty new to arnold so I thought I'd leave this open to a direct issue I'm looking to resolve while being open to any and all suggestions for character render setup.
My main issue atm is that I can't seem to get highlights to show up in the renderer.
This is the base unwrapped with normals as a bmp, Curvature as incandesence, and the bmp map in a few other area's in an attempt to highlight detail without creating harsh maps.
Here's the texture Lambert in hypershade:
And here's the Render (no items as I need to unwrap still, but the base is unchanged):
This is with some spherical mesh lights (I've tried direction lighting as well, so far)

That turned out better thank you. Finishing my uvw mapping on the items then texturing/learning surface painter & marvelous.
