The first step is design research. I did some rough sketches, not really focusing on details, but rather on large major shapes and the whole impression.
Kinda digging the idea of huge kabuki hair, it creates so much drama! Syndra is a levitating woman after all, come on, huge hair is a must. I'll be very grateful for any constructive criticism, thoughts, ideas
2,3 and 5 have such great drama to them. I'm so in love with 5 though, if you just messed around with the light/dark values of the clothes more and reduced the armor on the legs(distracts heavily and unbalanced her top half) I think it'd really stand out.

Really Really like 5 mask and full armor: the whole look of "war master" is greeeat. Anyway 3 catches my eye , I think because her hair and the values of the "belt", and the fact that has more balance in terms of "skin / armor". Great job!

I'm finishing the skin design, though I feel like some improvements can still be made. I decided to give her cleavage and removed the bottom part of the mask, because Syndra is one of the sexiest League characters and I didn't want to take that away from her. Still might change my mind about it later.
I also did some exploration for her spheres design. I had an idea of a crimson smoke, and the sphere just emitting this smoke as it moves. I used Phoenix FD to simulate blood and smoke, but ended up overpainting most of it though.

This is just so amazing to look at and actually got me motivated to finally get to work on my entry because it's just so good, I love how you designed her!
