Hey Riccardo! I can't provide much of a critique on the overall anatomy, but I think a lot of the armor and body is working well. One thing that stands out to me is the depth of her face; I think it might be too pronounced. I couldn't get a good view from the screenshots, so I grabbed a quick still from your youtube video to show you what I'm thinking.
Right now there's a lot of forward depth in her face, and she might be jutting her head out a bit more than she needs to. Sorry for the quality of the paint-over, but if you keep the style of her face and just adjusted some of the depth of things it might give her a better read. Really cool so far though, and looking forward to seeing more.
Hi Greenberg, i think modification like the one you suggest will change too much the style of the character making it in a "too real" proportion style compared to the style I want to achive more similar to the Overwatch style. What do you think?
I completely know what you mean, but I think you can still keep your style while grounding some of the anatomy a little further. Even though the characters in Overwatch are stylized, they're still built with their features in the proper positions. Sometimes their eyes might be bigger and the chins are a bit sharper, but I think that everything is in the usual place that you would find on a regular face.
From a side view, I did a rough trace of Zarya and Ana. Their features aren't as deep or exaggerated as some might think. My previous paint-over might be a little more realistic than Overwatch, but if you lengthen the face around the mouth or chin (instead of increasing the depth) it might help put you on the right track. If you haven't already seen it, I'd recommend checking out the ZBrush Central Overwatch Characters Art Dump and study / see how you can continue to push your character's style in that direction.
I hope this helps a little, and good luck with the character!
I think pictures talk for them self - no chin type of face is anatomically correct , its something else if you are trying to convey personal opinion of what is more visually appealing
One questions : Is she african or some sort of mixture , actually race can help you define specific facial features as there is differences in the skull I have few suggestions on paint over below : Basically I thin would help if you adjust your nose/glabella and neck angle and probably add her some cheeks
Can you send me head and neck above clavicle , will be easy to explain if I can do custom screenshots , or at least something similar to this view or can use this to fix yours
