IMO you should start again with the main metal texture. It reads alot like thick painted metal with bubbles of air formed inside and a rubber in some places. The amount of damage is overexcesive aswel. You would need to hit the weapon pretty hard in order to get those scratches. Modeling looks good.
I agree with @cromadbomber You should also look at the placement of some of the scratches, as they don't make sense. think of where the edges and surfaces would get scratched and damaged during use. Might even want to find a reference of a really old damaged gun........
