Thought I'd share; it's not perfect, but it's much better than nothing:

I bought a new laptop on Cyber Monday. It's got pretty decent specs for getting 3D work done (MSI G2L6M - it's a gaming laptop with a big HDD), but the manufacturer clearly saved money on the screen... a LOT of money. Unfortunately, you can't adjust gamma and color temp like you can on an external monitor, but Gamma Panel got me pretty close to my desktop.
I wouldn't recommend this laptop to other artists though, the screen just isn't up to par.
FYI: Apple makes amazing screens. I've been calibrating against my PC and a MacBook Pro from work, and the MacBook wins hands down. Just be aware that most software companies will make you buy a "side grade" if your current license is for another OS.
