[Riot Art Contest 2017] Quetzalcoatl/Feathered Serpent Aurelion Sol

Hello everyone! I'm very new to Polycount so please forgive me if this post is a mess hahaha. I'm attempting to design a skin for Aurelion Sol based on the Mayan/Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. The name doesn't really flow well so I am open to suggestions. I came up with this idea because Aurelion Sol has a very serpentine appearance despite being a dragon, and Quetzalcoatl is the "feathered serpent". Also, since Aurelion Sol creates stars, it fits in a way because Quetzalcoatl is the creator of Mankind/life in Aztec culture.
I will be updating this post as much as I can, but I'd appreciate feedback or suggestions for colors or potential themes to incorporate into the design!
