Hi.
I've made this futuristic city in 3dsMax using MentalRay a few years ago. It has lots of post-processing like
bloom and cinematic curves and I've also added the post-processed depth
of field to the buildings in the back afterwards. The mentalray render alone took
about 28 hours so with the post-processing, it took roughly about 30
hours to get this final image.

The render below is the same scene rendered real-time with Unity. Ofcourse it doesn't have the level of detail or precision Max render has but I'd say it's close enough considering the limitations of real-time rendering. I'm using SSR for reflections, tonemapping for color correction, legacy bloom effect for the glows and temporal anti-aliasing for AA.
