3DS Max 2018 Viewport Issue

Started up max today and I got some unusual blank menus in the upper left of the viewport.
I searched for anything related to these menus. Viewport menu fixes, resetting viewport, even reinstalled 2018 max cleanly - including user files and restarted.
So I'm not sure what else to do... Appreciate any input on this.
It's only a nuisance because it's always there blocking that area from view. Also the menus can't be accessed.. obviously.
As for the colors, those are right, it should be flat colors.

You can switch the driver used for 3DS Max if you didn't try under " Customize => Preferences => Viewports ".
You will have list of drivers under Display Drivers and set the recommmended if it's not it.
You will have to close/open max to apply the changes!
When was the last time you updated your drivers?
