So i'm working on "Cleric Jacob" model now and it's actually done already so I just post some WIP shots here) Next time I'll post each stages of work here to use comments (if they will be)))) and model accordingly. My main goal here was to made him not overdetailed and simple to read. Hope I did it p.s.: sorry for my English... First here's basemesh I've made for Jacob:
My 1st iteration of his cloth:
I didn't like his short cloak so made it "usual" one and added small details here and there:
Last iteration looks like this below:
Lopoly stage done with Topogun and UV'ed in Cinema4D. Bakes done with Knald exept of position pass (Knald can't do position pass... sadly...) which done directly at Substance Painter before texturing. Some shots here:
Next stage was to make his color key so there were some iterations done. I've got red\black color key on my mind for this character so first shots looked like this:
But later my thoughts goes to not so much Rogue-like colors and I've stopped on classic Black'n'Whie with gold scheme.. And here it is on it's final stage now:
That's it for now. Next I'm going to make his weapon and base to pose it finally. And may be I'll made some simple animation))
One of the recent practice work I've done for checking Fusion360 to Painter workflow. So I've made drone greatly inspired by "Cyberpunk 2077" and Deus Ex franchises. Some more pics here and Marmoset Viewer stuff: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Bmkxgl
