A scene I started a little while ago but dropped entirely because of the dog. So I have decided to pick it up again and try for real.
I know it's the most freakish looking dog you have ever seen. I am still not sure if I want it to be a bit bigger than life, mix of all breeds or rather a regular dog and practice on that.
After looking at the monstrosity I had created I decided that making a new dog was number one on the priority list. Quite happy with the blockout I have going out right now.
I think I might use a mix of fur brushes and my own sculpting skills, no idea yet how to do the tail tho.
Still working on the dog, not liking the front and 3/4th view of his head, probably got some proportions wrong and those paws are really hard as well. Any advice would be very much appreciated!
Some nails, some more work on the ears and head, redid the eyes (he didnt have eye sockets before). And double checking my dog anatomy because some parts are not working as I would like. For example his right front leg
Been through quite a few fur iterations now, I think this one is sticking for now.
I will go into max and retop/unwrap since all the big shapes are already in the sculpt. Then if I notice something during texturing I can always jump back to zbrush sculpt a bit, rebake and presto.
