I wanted to make sure I started something before I posted and got a thread going. I've decided to do a Turret and Den based off of Shadow Isles. Below is my ref sheet. I didn't spend forever going into the sketch for the turret and all that since I'm doing a lot of sketching in Zbrush and I know what I want to do for the turret. I'll do a lot more revs when I get to the Den.

I really liked the headless statue and it felt right as a firing source for the turret. so I did a quick sketch just to see what I wanted to change/add

I started the sketch in Zbrush and got the basic shapes. This is a few different points of progress since again, I wanted to make sure I was actually doing something before starting a thread.

small thanksgiving update just worked on the cloth a tad. Trying to keep shapes simple and not over think the design.
