Hey polycounters - I'm currently updating my UI portfolio with redesigns and personal explorations in my UI section.
Here's a couple of animation comps I worked up for some of the designs I made.

Would love to get some critiques on whether or not stuff is too fast/slow/, music/sfx (yay or nay), etc.
Also, and I'm sure this is up for debate, but when making these kinds of things for a portfolio I wonder how much of this is bad practice (redesigning and/or using art/assets from games in the market?)
