So... I´ve updated to 2.3.2. and wanted to continue working on my current project, but I get the error message "couldn´t switch to requested monitor resolution". 3Do won´t start and thus I cannot work anymore.
Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it - 3DO is built on Unity, which itself produces that issue. Until Unity fixes it, we're stuck with that particular problem. Sorry about that. As soon as it's fixed on their end, we'll be sure to incorporate it!
You can reinstall via the Launcher in the Suite toolbar menu.
@BlackFangTech that is, unfortunately, an unrealistic expectation for any software development. If we had seen this issue in testing, we'd have ensured it was fixed.

Expecting shipped software to work? Doesn't sound unreasonable to me. Also noticed that your link states 'This issue occurs when a TV is used as a monitor.' I have this issue, and do not / have never used a TV as a monitor on this PC.
Tried to uninstall and got 'Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Quixel SUITE 2.0\unins000.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.' Wanted to try to reinstall and see if that could fix the issue but I can't do that if it won't even uninstall properly.
I'm not saying that it's unreasonable for software to work. I am, however, saying that it's unreasonable to expect software be bug-free. Issues like this tend to crop up only when the software reaches a wider audience. This is unfortunately the nature of software development - every tool in existence has bugs. We do our best to address and resolve them.
That said, this issue used to be confined to TVs used as monitors, now (as 3DO's Unity build updates) it appears to affect a very narrow hardware configuration vs certain types of monitors.
Try downloading the latest full installer via www.quixel.se/download to see if that helps.

Why would that help? As you can tell by the message I posted, your updates are not correctly updating the path for the uninstall executable in the windows registry. I was able to uninstall myself by manually locating the file, but this is not something that should be in a commercial software product. After reinstalling, I no longer get the 3DO error.

If this doesn't help, let me know and I'll have our programmer take a closer look into it.
However, hope it gets fixed soon.
Thanks for your help : )

Just want to notify you that the re-install did fix the issue at hand after the silent update. Thanks for the swift fix!
