I can isoline wireframe render with
TurboSmooth by just toggling
Isoline Display on the modifier along with a composite material. The first material would just be a standard black diffuse with the
Wire attribute checked. And done deal.
But it does not work the same way with
OpenSubdiv... it always renders the non-isoline version despite the checked
Isoline Display.
If anyone knows a possible way that's fairly easy with
Mental Ray, I'd love to know!

In 3ds Max I would suggest just rendering a preview frame at the desired resolution, then compositing it onto your render. If you have AA enabled in your GPU settings it should look great.
Is there no possible way to do it straight from the render? Because I'm not sure how to do a preview frame and compositing it in
