I'm starting my first likeness portrait from scratch. I thought it would be fun to post WIPs and have people guess who it will be. If someone gets it right it will tell me I'm on the right track
Here is the first WIP. I spent approximately 3 hours.
Hint: He is a fairly well known actor.

Here's a quick a-symmetry and expression update.
Another hint would be to look at the cheek. He has a scar on both cheeks.
What's the goal with these? What do you want out of it?
There's quite a few famous people with similar features, head shapes etc....
if you want help with what can be improved, then post references.
Don't make the people guess if you want help, because how would we know what you are looking at?
Are you sure you have gotten all the primary forms in? If you have to tell people that he has scars on both cheeks.... but you've not modelled it.. then are you really far enough along in a likeness sculpt to have a likeness to it, enough to have people guess on it?
If you want to have a guessing game...... in that case, I don't have time for this.
He does have scars in the latest image.
Wouldn't I have wasted less of your time, had you just guess and moved on? Food for thought. Sorry for wasting your time.
I pulled the base geo back into Zbrush and projected the concept sculpt and then did some adjustments.
Having a difficult time finding good reference of him in the right age range. Most are of him being 30 years older.
Started surfacing. I never know how heavy handed I need to be. I need to create more custom alphas...or spend money. Texture.xyz seems to be popular. Any suggestions?
You killed my father, prepare to die.
