Substance Designer Height map details missing in Material view

Hello guys, i am new to SD, i watched abunch of tutorial but decided to something outside of the demo project.
something basic, i wanted to recreate those yellow tiles for vision-impaired people like these:


my Graph is set up like the following:



I tried to blur it and level it again, i tried changing the gray background of the height map, doesn't resolve the issue.
i guess it must be so very basic beginners mistake or something i overlooked, please help!!

    holy crap i think i plugged the normal map in tot the metallic by accident

    Right click your "Height" output node and click "View in 3d" and then select the "height" channel. I believe by default its not enabled so even with a value plugged into the node you wont see anything until you do that.

    Also make sure you go to "Materials" and then "Edit" on the top toolbar and set your "Scale" to 0.5 to actually show the height information.
