Knocking out the poses for my ulti! I'm envisioning him as being entwined in Taliyah's lore, with an ultimate that lets the player choose whether or not to use it for mobility. So, I'm going to animate him riding the rock into the ground, and jumping off of it!
Started splining the beginning! There are some places at the end with some splining too, because I wanted to make sure the way I rigged the large rock was workable. I'm struggling with the end poses, though. I'm wondering if it might not be reading as cleanly as I thought it would. I'm still working itt out a bit, butt C&C is always welcome. :]
Hey Paul, this is looking cool - but I'd say you need to be careful to consider the game camera - the distance the biggest rock travels is probably more than one screens' worth (maybe even 2 screens). Try to think about whether that would actually work in-game because I'm not sure it would. You might need to rein the travel distance in a little bit!

Thanks a ton for the feedback, Daniel! I think you're right, I'm going to dial it down some.
Here's my latest progress! I'm getting into splining the end, which I imagine will probably be the trickiest part. i'm really excited about how it's coming together, but there is still work to be done. :] Does anyone have a preference between the round flight path of the first rock, and more straight path of the second?
Really close to wrapping up my ult animation! I put a much better polish on the front handspring, and changed up the poses for the big rock surfing. Any C&C is always welcome, and I hope everyone is hitting their stride as we approach the deadline! :]
Here's the beginning of my blocking phase for my run cycle! I can already see I'll have to experiment with the timing of the torso rotation, but I'm excited about this one!
First splining pass in the books! I still see some things that need attention, like the rotations of the shoulders as they swing back, and the momentum doesn't look quite right. But, I'm still excited to keep working this one out.
Aaand, here's the final product! I had a lot of fun, and learned a few awesome things on this one. It's been a pleasure competing with everyone, and checking on the progress of some really cool work. Good luck to everyone, again!
