I'm looking for a mid-senior level Unity developer with strong c# programming and shader skills to help bring a VR project together over the next couple of months. The main tasks will require the following:
- construct a shader or other system to generate animated, 3D fractal forms from mesh elements. Creative input is required to work out exactly how this will be done. Please note this shader will use stereoscopic rendering
- create a custom shader to give a hand-drawn, charcoal appearance to a scene. This will require more than just throwing on cell shading or applying a post-process texture, the main goal is to "smudge" the lines between foreground and background 3D objects. Again, this is for a VR project
- Create a procedural system to display a pre-existing text using an image for each letter. The text must roll out into the air and then disapear letter-by-letter
- Optimise the loading in and out of scenes in rapid succession, or alternatively work out a system to rapidly change scenes using stencil shaders or similar
- Modify our existing procedural spline system
- testing, debugging and publishing
All applicants should include a CV and links to previous projects or a portfolio with a description of what was personally contributed during production. Please make sure that examples are relevant to the tasks above.
London-based applicants are preferred but remote work is a possibility. Please include a cost estimate / day rate with your initial reply.
