Yay! I made it! Here's what I entered. It's been a real journey and I've learnt so much, it pushed me right out of my comfort zones. It was also amazing to watch everyone's process and the feedback from the community was always helpful and encouraging.
I'm so glad I entered! Thank you all for checking my thread and commenting, couldn't have done it without you!

Hi Guys! My first time on Polycount and first time entering an Illustration comp! Yikes! Here goes, I'll be working on Nami, I've got some basic sketches done, will post my ideas soon. Loving what you guys have been posting so far! *wow, intimidating* haha  Peace out x

ooooooooooh fun staffs for sure. I like all of them except the first, because I imagine that would be hard to read if it were a 3D model in game. the simplicity of the last one compared to her more complex body design looks really enticing. I'm excited to see further renditions!

I think it might be very helpful to decide for a specific fish as a design core even if it isnt the most dominant part in the end.

I like them all, but thinking in terms of the games, E and B are my favorite leaning towards E, because the silhouette is easy to read and interesting! Good luck!

holy moly! They all look incredible. 
My fave is D tho its such an eyecatcher to me! I also like E and B and C and A (in that order)

Hi guys! thank you so much for your feedback, @JuliaSAGEFOX, @Silvarspark @MenoOG it really helped me to narrow down the best head! I do feel I need to do a side shot of D. too @DawnHearts as she was the first one I did and she did inspire the others! Anyhow here's the latest side shots, would love to know what you guys think! I love the afro too for the same reasons @MenoOG !!  It's making it hard to decide as I also like the unusual shape of C! Thanks for all the comments guys @Suuja @DanRobinett @4paulpaa , I really appreciate it  I decided to try the heads that were the strongest on her body, hoping a strong silhouette will help me decide Would love to know what you think!

They all look cool tho I gotta say C is my least favorite cuz of that completely shaven side cut. Afro is super cool but i cant really imagine it with colors. What have you thought of for the colors in general apart of the white afro (cuz I think that might be an overkill having a white afro)
I really like the hair of B tho I cant decide between A and B

Hi ya!! Ok so I've done some colour variations of E. I'm also going to do the same for C. as I do love the asymmetry of those horns. So here's some colour. The 3rd option is mostly for fun, too much Blue Planet and American Gods! haha, I love colour my bad.

The Barbados colour scheme on the second one is super appealing.
Overall, a white face, coulorfull hair, rustles and red lipstick tend to give more a clown aspect than voodoo one.
Regarding you thematic, dark lipstick and F or B hair with asymetric horn will do the trick.

Cant decide between 1 & 2 both look sooo mazing! I love the face in general and your choice of color. I think 1 might be even a tad bit better but I really cant tell

Thought I'd have a play with option C. just because I'm not ready to give up on her yet. Thanks for all your comments, its been so helpful! please keep them coming! I love the colours of 1 as I feel they're a bit more daring but I can't decide haha

If you decide to go with this model / hair then defo go colors of number 1! 
As for the Afro I still cant deicde for the colors

Thanks @DawnHeart I agree option 1 is stronger, so I would go with that if I chose 'Horns' but if I choose 'Afro' I'm going to go with option 2 as the colours lean more to voodoo mermaid... I think eek. haha  Anyhow here's her staff, I may still play around with the colours depending on which Nami I go with.
