롯아제렛에 테워낫다 . My parents were able to dodge the LA Riots in '92 by living in the back of a Korean church (나성한인연합장로교회) on Jefferson as the angry people of South Central moved northwards toward Wilshire.
Couple months later, I was born at St. Mary's in Long Beach.
Found Polycount back in 2011 when TF2's website linked a thread here for making 3D models. I eventually stepped outside of the TF2 community thread and explored the rest of the site where I wanted to be a member and post my own art.
I'm from Turkey. There's only 6-7 Turkish members in this entire forum. I found this website via a link posted at game-artist.net about a decade ago (other major game art forum back then). I lurked about a year before decided to register here. I was doing offine renders and very basic bsp box ut2004 maps. Then UT3 game released with UE3 editor. I realized I can import my models into a real-time game engine. Having able to walk around your creation in real-time became far more immersing than looking at rendered pictures.
So as mentioned Im from Dallas, Texas. I found this forum through google very recently. It seems active enough and thought I would try it out and hope to get to know other digital artists.
