Hey, Utte, I'm following the progress of your model but I just decided to speak now haha. I'm loving the color relations that you chose, purple and blue is really good! About the head I think you should decrease a little bit, and the neck less thic. And I have a espefic feedback to the horn, it looks so "aligned" in the horizontal, and in my opinion is not too interestant. Maybe this reference would be useful to you, in the Pan's Labyrinth the horn is more angular, and looks good.
Hi Yararstss, and thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! Also I'm glad to hear that someone actually are following my progress, haha. I definitely see what you mean about the horns. I'll try to move them around some
Yay another Katarina! I like the voodoo theme alot! It's looking great so far.
I think currently the body might be slightly too short overall (she is about 7 heads high) I think the torso might be too short and the legs! It would be useful to see an image of just the body
She's 7 ½ heads tall atm. I've had perspective view on in my other pictures, so that might be why she looked a bit stumpy. Do you think I should exaggerate the proportions?
It's not far off! I think the navel is slightly too short and the knees should be slightly lower. Shoulders are slightly too sloped. I think the neck should come down longer. The armpits slightly look like that are pushed too far in as well. If you still feel like she is still slightly short you can do ideal proportions and have 8 heads high.
Hey, Utte. Some characters can open their mouth, just like Darius, and Darius is a old model. There is no standard I think, maybe the current katarina has no open mouth because the old model also don't. Or because her face is so small that there is no reason to put that open mouth. But like a said, Darius has a small face, Draven too, and they can open. I don't know, maybe you should do just for the "fun spirit" :v
Tried putting the model up on Sketchfab with a discrete idle animation. She doesn't really hold her swords as of now, and the texture isn't quite done yet, but it's getting there!
I love the model, If your still considering suggestions i would say to change the hue of the feathers a bit cuz it too monochromatic right now. Hoping to see this with a better animation soon
@TheIceWolves Thank you for the feedback! Do you tink the whole model is too monochromatic or just two hues of the feathers? I won't do any fancy animation, but I'll tweak it for sure
It is mainly because her hair is also purple, the whole model seems like only purple and gold, her skin tone also close to the gold color. if you could add another color to the model that'd be great. Also she's looking way better with animation, spcly the eye blink lol. Good luck

I did this really rough sketch just to figure out what components I wanted to add.
Also I did a quick polypaint just to see what color scheme I'm going for later on, and to see if everything reads well
Weapon Was going for a ceremonial sacrificial knife

So i took another look:

I hope that helps!
Also, I feel the notches on the blade edge might be a bit too uniform.
Looking good, all in all. Keep it up!
Just started with the lowpoly. Boring hours ahead, captain!
Do you guys think this is too high poly? The whole sword would be 304 triangles all in all
Annie: http://www.lolking.net/models?champion=1&skin=0 (put in "joke" animation).
Almost done with the lowpoly! Really looking forward to start texturing her
Well done!
Got some more work done, finally time to start texturing!
Bakes are done, and I threw on a quick and dirty value block out. Now the fun starts for real
Realized that her belt medallions doesn't really hold up with as low resolution in geometry as they are now, so I'll probably change them.

Really loving the hair!
@TheIceWolves Yeah, works much better, thank you for that suggestion!
