[RIOT CREATIVE CONTEST 2017] Sous Chef Tahm Kench

The Sous-Chef de Cuisine (under-chef of the kitchen) is the second-in-command and direct assistant of the Chef de Cuisine. Sous chef works under Master Chef.

There is a Master Chef Tahm Kench skin already, so this version will work under him as Sous Chef. I wanna develop a personality that might define some visual elements; so far I'm thinking Sous Chef Tahm Kench would be more excitable and a bit crazier than Master Chef Tahm Kench as he/she will idolize him and wants to prove themselves and grow their career as a chef (Undecided what gender Sous Chef Tahm Kench will be).

Here are a few images that I'm feelin' right now for this character. I'm planning to work up a sculpt, then paint over it to figure out the final look. Basically, I'm gonna work it out as I go!

Here is what I'm thinking so far in terms of idea and proportions:

Not entirely sure on clothing yet, but I am gonna try out a Quina from FF9 type vibe first. Also, I know I had chameleons in the mood board, but I think a gecko thing would be better for silhouettes of hands and feet!

Looks cool pav! You should do a paint over from the game camera so you can see if it's too busy from that view or not

Yeah good point! I think a lot of details from that design do get lost tbh, or don't make much difference at least. Even the teeth are too small to be seen properly A big block of white might be enough to sell that smile though. I will prob try make them a bit bigger but I really want a lot of molars goin on..

I experimented with a colour schemes while I was at it too!

I need to think of a weapon!

Playing round with more ideas. Heavily leaning towards the one in the middle, which is heavily inspired from them Qu's in FF9!

I've changed the sleeves, because I thought it would make her look more feminine, but I def want to do the theme from the middle one!

somehow weird to see Tahm Kench in a female form, but the design looks really cool! I would try to add some "details", for example some kitchen utensils hanging from her (so weird to say her and talking about Tahm) belt, for example a rolling pin?

Thanks! I think I'll do a big fork weapon and maybe a knife to go with it. Just kinda unsure how they can be held on her back.. hmmm

I changed the buttons on the front and made a hat! I think I'm thinking I'll do a rolling pin like this, and make it look like some kinda scroll thing with thick rope tying it up.
